I’ve been doing quite a bit of traveling.
Just left the University of Maryland, College Park yesterday, and while I was there, I was invited to discussed this blog at length in a few classes. Also talked to a student at Williams College about the creation of this site and how she spent an entire afternoon reading the posts. Am not quite used to talking about this project yet, as it’s still relatively new and well, hard. Getting up in large groups of people and telling them about your complex relationship with food can seem daunting. At one point I even doubted myself and wondered if the students had any idea what I was talking about. Anyway, hope they found my two cents engaging and relatable.
In any case, whenever I travel, I am reminded how spoiled I am in San Francisco where I have access to amazing Asian cuisine, especially dumplings. So here’s to the dumpling that I’ll get to eat when I get home!
