Holidays can be tricky. There are lots of parties, which means a lot of buffets. A lot of opportunities to shove things we don’t eat 11 other months out of the year into our mouths.
As a binge eater, I used to be terrified of the holidays. Waking up in a cookie coma filled me with, mentally and physically, with regret and I’d spend the rest of the week agonizing over my decision.
Over the last few years, I’ve learned a few things for sure - I WILL still binge… I WILL gain weight. I WILL feel like crap some mornings.
And I WILL always get over it. And you will too.
